Newly redesigned Webmaster Forum - Domain Name Chat Forums

Hi,

Since I got pretty decent people reviewing my blog (www.tadbit.com).
I would like to see how well this review goes.

Please review my fairly new forum that has been redesigned completly from ground up... Domain Name Chat Forums.

Looks good though simple. Enough with the ads, I guess. About the placement, there should be some things to edit. Just my opinion. Good luck! About your posts, no specific topics?

Looks great. The color scheme is perfect. The only thing I would suggest is maybe changing the background to an off-white shade...either blue or gray to make it a little easier on the eyes. GREAT JOB!

 

Color scheme is tight. So is the design. One thing though....it might be best to remove the adds on teh front page (right abouve the welcome banner). Just a thought. But the site is very good. DP needs a skin like this

My Thoughts

Domain Name
The domain name is easy to remember but I think that you could put a tag line below DNC Forums sharing what DNC translates too.

Header
Simple, Nice and Clean... I like it

Template
One of the best vBulletin templates I've seen. Not to busy... but could use some touch ups on the Top Navigation and the Bottom Navigation in terms of desigining.

Content
Your forum discussions are excellent. Something I myself would be interested in getting involved with.

Activity
I think you need to market and advertise your forum more to get the activity that you need. I would not recommend hiring posters as I find them pointless to have... as you don't really build a good forum from this... you get a lot of unnecessary posts that drive real visitors away.

Conclusion
I have to say I really like the idea of your forum. I already found excellent information that I could use. I'll have to bookmark this for myself.

There is this guy on her "501" who I am not affiliated with who offers a type of script that makes relevant topics for your members to discuss. I heard it works pretty well but still looking into it for my forum.
