The best promotion is SEO. SEO is done onsite and offsite. Basically, offsite comes to building backlinks.
Yeah, agree with above. Backlinking is your best strategy and building links with relevant sites will drive traffic (although not as much as you'll get from SEO) as well. Try to get in touch with others in the industry who might link to you, find blogs and forums and get the link out there as much as possible. Also, try to SEO optimise your text and if you don't have your key keywords appearing on the main page, rewrite some of the site text.
Bookmarking your website into various social networks and Bookmarking sites. Post the comments in relevant blogs and forums. Write and publish some articles. Do lots and lots of link building.
