    I went ahead and submitted my link. While submitting to a new directory may not help me a great deal, hopefully it will help to increase the popularity of your directory as well.

    'Links with nofollow attribute' are of no use. 'Regular links with reciprocal' is not ..it is called 'link exchange'. you would get more submissions if you offer real free submissions.
