    Hello guys,

Today, I visit Clicksor.com site and realized they have improve their site tremendously. Have any noticed that?

My experience with clicksor wasn't very pleased though. I've been almost a year with them but only get about 40 US$ for that effort so far. But the good thing is that they do pay you.

I never get a targeted ads on my site during the time I use their ads. However, I do not know how does it look like for now. Anyone here has used the latest Clicksor??

    Cheers :)
    Toby

Yes, I'm using clicksor and I noticed the change. Personally, rather than redesign their front page I would rather them make their scripts more efficient. Their ads still slow down my site and I'm considering dropping them, extremely second rate, at least in my opinion.

However, the saving grace that I like about them is their referrals. ;)

hi cldnails, thanks for your response. I saw in your blog link only the referal. Have you tried their Cotextual? Have they improved? Or they still have the ads by lycos?

I remember the last time I was with them is that they do not have enough advertisers... that really bring down the ads showing.

I'm not using them on Blogmadness yet, but you can see how they are being used over at http://thetounge.org

So, you can see that I am using their contextual, but it is still slow to respond at times. I have not been with them for very long, so as far as improving...I really don't have anything to compare it to. Although I will say that payout, performance, it pales in comparrison to Adsense.

The ppm actually boils down to what keywords you are triggering with the contextual ads. But, as compared to google, it just doesn't seem to cut it. I would imagine it has a lot to do with the amount of advertisers, as you mentioned, trying to compete for those all important keywords.

new look but still shitty service. They are just trying to change their image in my opinion. They want to look better for those who did not experience their bad service.

    Question about Clicksor:

According to their website, I will earn "a 70% profit share from displaying our contextual ads" and their minimum bid is $0.10 Per Click.

That should mean I would make an absolute bare minimum of 0.07 per click, right?

    Not quite....no.

I've found several instances where Clicksor has 'warped' their words so that they were misleading, especially in regards to their referrals(which they recently rewrote).

I know that i have received .01 clicks before using them. Oh well, it's second rate to google for a reason.

I've been using clicksor for probably 6 months. Prefer the payment system through my Paypal account. I love that. They pay the 15th of the month. I do decent through them, minimum payout is $20.00.

I prefer supporting a smaller company, who treats it's publishers also as customers. Plus if more site owners switched to clicksor, it'd increase the value of advertisers to use them. The the payout amounts would go up also.

The payouts for sites like Clicksor, will never go up if people remain with the mainstream.

The answer to that is yes but averaged over time..

You may get 1cent clicks and later you'll get the odd 20,30 cent click but averaged you should do over the 7c click. Dodgy wording but all PPC companies work by that logic... (business by averages)

I like Clicksor, my average click is over $0.07. I love them because of their TextLinks, people click on them a lot. Also you can make your banner floating in the top right corner, in Adsense it is against TOS :)
