Newly Captured PR5 domain will lose PR soon on next update?

I really want to know that since I am ready to buy a PR 5 domain.
PR is true however it is expired and newly registered on Nov.
will it lose PR soon or gradually? If I build backlinks from now, will it keep PR?

no one has actually figured this out for sure . .. I've seen that if you can keep the backlinks, the PR will drop on the next update BUT will come back again at the update after that . . . IF you have a website up (rather than a parked page)

 

keep building links, and your PR will raise on the next update

that depends on backlinks u have build fast backlinks and do some link exchange before Pt updates.

 

So if you buy a domain (parked with sedo say) with PR this will loose PR on the next update unless more links are got?

Will it rank better than a new domain being a higher PR or not because it was offline for some time?
