Did anyone tried Microsoft Windows 7 yet? I heard that it occupies up to 14Gb of your hard drive space. Is that real? Anyways, if someone is using it can you share some of the new features we should expect from Microsoft? Thanks,
I had seen it working at my software vendor's place couple of weeks back and the speed was truly good. I am waiting for the release of the official version and with little more positive feedback with regards to its stability, I will surely try it out myself! Regards, RightMan
I had read that it is suppose to be alot better than Vista, thats another reason why they had brought it out.
That's a fact. Otherwise they wouldn't mind designing a new OS. I didn't knew that is "A LOT" better though. In fact, I don't think I saw a worse OS than Vista itself A friend of mine installed Microsoft Windows 7 on his computer already and that's where I know about the 14 Gb (anyways, around this value). What about if the next OS generation from Microsoft will take 50 Gb and so on? I think it will be wise to buy an external HDD for OS alone and when a new version is released ... well ... just throw away the old HDD because pretty sure HDDs will evolve too
Their are lot's of features in Windows 7 inluding new Taskbar,it's more stable then Windows Vista and much faster, just search the net you would find lot's of blogs writing about it
hi guys - here you can find lots of good articles about the new windows7 http://windows7microsoft.com/
I have installed Windows 7 by replacing Vista on my PC and yeah it doent look at an RC at all...! Its like the final version..
A huge advantage Europeans will have over all others is it will NOT include a browser of any kind! Microsoft will, instead, make you go out and find a DVD, or download your own, elsewhere. This will finally unburden users of the hell that is IE. Um, but, um, Microsoft always claimed they couldn't do that....but now they can so easily. Aren't they amazing? I think. LINK
I am glad you like it and as Bohra says I hope not... XP was a big step ahead from Win98/2000 for most of the people. That can be an upgrade for any future Microsoft OS. IE was not my choice for a very long time now. And the coolest thing about IE: - a lot of viruses get into the system through ActiveX. Not to mention the plethora of junkie softwares that does nothing but use the IE interface. Softwares like: submitters, SEO tools etc, which anyways are in most part considered spam. Do that in Firefox My opinion is that they should focus on a less buggy OS rather than making better browsers.
Do you have it installed? Or you just need some posts? You definitely don't sound to be sure about what you're saying.
Man are you joking the Windows folder itself in my laptop takes 10.6 GB and I am using Windows 7 since the first day of it's leak
I did face some issues when installing it (see my signature), but otherwise, it has not given me a single error or program / driver incompatibility messages, so I am happy.
