    well, my dog forum is holding strong at a PR2. :)

    but my Webmaster Forum got upgraded to a from a 0.. WooHoo..


    I wanted to make a thread to share my joy :D

    I wish every one else Good PR luck.. :D

    Well there are certainly more happy faces this time round compared to the last update when there's a lot of complaint. Could it be due to google trying to please more people on its birthday....Just my guess ;)

    IMHO, PR3 is not what got the money. $1000 is too much money to just buy a domain based on a PR3. Even too much for JUST a PR4 domain. What matters is the content, SERP, revenue, traffic, domain name, etc.

    Now if it was a great domain name on it's own, different scenario. But I think that the value must have been a combination of domain name, content, traffic, and revenue.

    The actual monetary difference between a PR3 and PR4 domain name only, and again, depending on the domain name, may only represent 100 to 200 dollars, tops. Sometimes a GREAT PR3 domain might be worth more than a junk PR4 domain. Sometimes a PR4 cans sell for less than a PR3. It just all depends.
