Hi, I always assumed .co.uk would search the same data as .com but obviously favouring UK domains \ sites. When I do a "site:" search on .co.uk it shows me NO supplemental and on .com is shows lots!! The supplemental are out of data pages with 301 re-directs (changed structure of site). This makes me think the .co.uk is using a newer dataset? Anyone else seen something simliar? Thanks
The site: search in google is notoriously inferior. Use yahoo site explorer for that sort of thing. I don't think the results in there have anything to do with what's indexed in google.co.uk versus google.com. There are lists of datacenters online, but you should be able to tell from your stats what old pages are still being found.
some people say that if you want to know how your site will be at google search in future , you must look google.co.uk. i think it's a good news for you
This is what I was thinking (and hoping)... We made a mistake about a year ago and traded some links and got a penalty for some of the links on our site. I have asked for a "review" over 10 months ago so hoping one day we will get back our SERPS! Cheers
