I found an advertiser that was running a February sale. I looked for some of their products that weren't being promoted on Adwords, found them and put up ads that mentionned the sale. I've done very well in terms of clicks (CJ total and Google Adwords total are pretty close) and I increased my daily budget yesterday to $40. That's higher than I would normally use for trying out a new sales avenue, but I knew there were very few days in February left and wanted to "make hay while the sun shines" (pardon the cornball expression). Well currently I see 0 sales in CJ, but about 50-60 clicks. After reading a few other threads here, I looked and the CJ advertiser has NO for batch processing. So... did no one buy anything or could the sales be that far behind the clicks? Do I hold my ground and leave my budget as is? Or chicken out and reduce it. I really don't want to spend $280 (7 days of Feb x $40 a day) and get nothing back. If CJ sees your clicks, but the user refuses the cookie then you won't see the sale -- is that how it works? Could this have cost me all my sales? In which case, how does anyone ever make money -- market to less security-concious, less sophisticated internet users? Thanks in advance for the advice.
I like how Digital Point forum tags me as "Peon" -- that's nice! Talk about making person feel small.
