Indeed a good start but doubt how long they will carry it. I think if they bring quality players in Winter then there are good chances to see them back in League.:)

I hate to say this as Brian is a good pal but NU are where they are because they have brought on all their own problems themselves

It is a long road back and will not be easy to get back!

Fat Ashley wants out, so I can't see him spending anything.

Newcastle is in the same situation as my team - an owner we want rid of, but who wont go

I know you are right Pete.

All we can do is get behind the team and hope for the best, it’s a long road ahead but its going well at the moment.

Any half decent business man would know that the club would be worth more in Premiership, a little investment would have increased the chances of it happening.

More than happy with our start but not sure how long it will last, the next match is a big game.

    Thanks Brian

would`nt call QPR a big game i would say its an easy 3 points in the bag. Stop thinking negative all the time, newcastle have had a great start to the season when everybody expected them to do a leeds.

At least you dont have a Smeghead (Megson) in charge of your team.

My post was dated September 7th before we played Cardiff City, QPR at home is a winnable game but I’m not taking anything for granted. Yesterdays result against Ipswich was very impressive, Ipswich are not pulling up trees but this was the biggest home defeat in 6 years for them.

Yes, I am a huge fan of Newcastle United especially because of Shearer and Shay Given. But unfortunately Given has left and the club is in deep trouble.

I am surprised that the team is doing so well, with all the turmoil going on with Ashley - Keegan and all that riff raff

Well done to the players doing so well against all the odds

Credit has to be given to the players and manager for getting on with it.

We missed the opportunity to move 5 points clear.

QPR were on top in the first half but, a draw was fair in the end.

Our next game is at home to Bristol City, hopefully we will get back to winning ways.

The match highlights are available on our forum.

    Thanks Brian

I'm not a Newcastle Fan (I support West Ham) but I have a lot of friends who are Magpies and I have a lot of time for you guys.

Definitely the best supporters in Football with everything you have been through and still you fill St James' every week in the rain and snow and ice, and all the time, with your shirts off - priceless!

No disrespect to Bolton but I really can’t see Smith wanting to sign for them, Smith seems to be enjoying his football now. He has said he wants to stay and help the team gain promotion.

    Thanks Brian

Alan Smith has been a very loyal player since day one which ever club he plays for, was unfortunate at MU when he got the horror injury, he always gives 100% when playing

I’m surprised you feel that way, Smith is as good as most Bolton players. Your team could end up in the Championship next year.

It’s not looking good for you guys, next two games are very important.

Newcastle are picking up wins, 7 in a row now and a seven point gap.

So far so good and the forum is picking up well:p

    Thanks Brian
