    Hi .
    I am really new to Affiliate/clickbank stuff . When doing PPC advertising , do you point people to your own site where you say something about the product , or just hit them with the actual product URL with your affiliate ID ?
    Is there some ToS thing against it ? What restrictions are there ?

    you can do both....
    however... if there is another affiliate doing PPC with a direct aff link then google wont show your ad as they only show one ad per domain on the sponsered ad listings... if i understand correctly...

    so you must finda a rare affiliate program that no on else is promoting directly using adwords for your ads to show

    What If I use a different domain name in Adwords?
    I mean lets assume I want to sell a guide for Beaver Handling . So my domain is Beaver-affiliate.com , and his is Beaver-Handling.com .
    I put Beaver-affiliate.com as the domain name , and Beaver-handling.com/aff=me as Url .
    Will it show up even though someone else is also pointing to that site ?

    That would still be classed as Beaver-handling.com.

    The only way round this is to direct them to your own domain where you have some sort of review or something with a 'join now' button sending them to the merchant site. Otherwise you have to compete with all the other Beaver-handling.com affiliates that send traffic direct to the merchant.

    spot on.... you need whats called a landing page on a different domain. then you would have the aff link on the landing page...

    I also read somewhere that you can not use adsense to direct raffic to sites that have popups or popunders. So if you create your own landing pages keep this in mind.

    Someone please correct me if I am wrong.

    You are correct. Google will not allow you to use popups/popunders on an Adwords landing page .

    I'd like to say though that clickbank is not an easy game to play , and I can see how a small wrong move could end up costing me quite a bit of money .
    I also understand now why nobody (including the very newbie me) will ever go into the details of how to have even moderate success on clickbank .
