People are so negative that you can cut the air with a knife. They are just saying you cant make money without all the skills, experience, time and money. Pure BS. There was a 16 or 17year old girl making tons of money with her myspace layout site. There was a guy not long ago raking in the moolah with his milliondollar home page where he sold 1 million pixels in his website. There was a fellow who has made quite a lot of money in domaining but he spent a little upfront. Hope the OP gives out the reasons even if he fails because everybody can learn from it.
The above ^^^ are extreme cases, lke the paper clip, or freak videos on Youtube, yes sometimes these are mistakes or innocent webmasters who didn't aim for what they become - maybe they did. But that's extreme cases - odds are about 1 in a million I reckon.
you know, i think he can do it if hes done his research enough. i personally had absolutely no experience when a friend gave me the idea of doing this. His dad has pretty much mastered online marketing and has turned it into his full time (part time? he only workes minimal now) job and is making more than i could have guessed my friend gave me a crash course in about 2 weeks time over how things work. I did the best i could, and to get the hang of things created some VERY quick thrown together ads, just to see if i could get the hang of google/yahoo/msn indexing, then left few months later (ok, alot of months later) i got a check for 130, which was all profit, because i didnt spend a dime for anything. i made 5-6 sales in about 6-7 months, without even trying. not bragging at all about what happened, but my point is, if i can make some cash completely by accident while learning how google works, someone whos done extensive research can pull this off.
If he has the time to devote to the plan I believe he will be successful, he may not pull off the $100 day as quick, but I think he'll hit it eventually. On a side note, any updates on this project yet?
I can't wait to see if this works--I currently do web content production and even though I work my ass off I haven't been able to clear $100 a day... you'll have to make sure to put up the link soon!
I am personally at $150-$170/day and had $6,99 in expenses first 3 months. Pick a niche, read up and Post, Post, Post, POST!! (Oh and also utilize, Social networking!) I now work 1/2-time as a beta-tester for a software company, spend 30 mins a day on my blogs and play with my daughter! Feel free to drop me a line if you need help!
Strange he hasn't been back to this post - as he's been online each day, mostly shopping in buy / sell / trade section though, maybe he's chosen a different approach ? maybe it's hype, who knows.
It is definately possible to make over $100 a day with adsense alone. I figured out a way to make over $350 a day with only a PR2 website using only adsense. I'll tell you how I did it for a one time fee of $5,000.00.
Ignore the people who tell you that you can't do it, because if you can, if you know what you're doing. Good luck with your goal!
No, it's possible to make that much and spend nothing except for domain and hosting. Primarily if you learn good SEO and create a niche site, and find a keyword that gets a lot of popular searches, has less competing pages (or at least ones that'll be easy to beat), and then check out the keyword to make sure it can be a money-earner, and then you can easily make that much a day in Adsense alone. You just have to choose the right keyword. Of course, that's for niche sites, and I haven't read through this whole thread enough to know what this person is doing with their blog. But, it's very possible.
Nope although he's been active on DP in the past few days. http://forums.digitalpoint.com/search.php?searchid=10637522
I love your attitude! I started out not knowing SH*T about blogging less than 6-8 months ago and today i have made (this day, TODAY) $180 (Oh yeah, its every day) with close to ZERO capital spend (I think I spent about $20 the first month, nothing since) If you read, learn and communicate everything is possible!! Ps. SUPERBLOG i love your blog! If you ever need a 'guest poster' drop me a line. I'm an editor by profession and a member of several ad-networks advisory board and I am full of ideas! Ds.
Hey man, I just read through every post on this thread, and most people are giving you negative words. Why? I think this is a great thing to do. Set goals and try to achieve them the best you can. Who knows, you could be the next online multimillionaire. None of you know that for sure. You can't predict the future. Good luck on this, and I hope you reach your goal. Be sure to let me know if you do! I'm really interested, and I am willing to support you the whole way, because I know how it is to be in your shoes. I've been working hard making money on this forum and with websites, and I've only been doing this for about a month or two. So far, I've only made about a total of around $500, but it's definitely a start for me, and I'm happy with that. PS: Feel free to add me on any my messengers (in my profile) if you want another newbie friend, hah.
[A few weeks later] Just wanted to rescue this thread from oblivion. Well, Aren, how's business these days?
