Just repped you Badar; You are quite polite and the read is infectious - I feel you will do well here And look forward to hearing about you popping your clickbank cherry soon. **It's good to update this journal but don't spend tooooo much time doing it - you'll notice by other journals that it keeps you busy and distracted just coming back to post/respond so often << Having said that though - it's your first journal/challenge so keep rocking. **Have you set a goal/challenge for yourself? Like $500 - $1000 etc? You should set a goal to document and date your achievement, and then reset it to the next level.... NC.
Thanks for the advices! Checked your products mate, they are really great! And they're going to be in my list for next products to promote. I haven't really thought about setting an achievement for myself. But thanks, thats a great idea actually and it's also a good motivation. But really, I haven't earned till now anything from Clickbank, so it is kind of hard to set up a goal without even knowing how it will go About the journal, well ye, I'm addicted , I need to teach myself instead of spending time surfing forum, do more useful things
I'm starting to think that the niche I chose is too competitive, and I mean too competitive! Really disappoints me. I see others convert at 1:40, and it makes me cry , while I can't convert even at 1:60 (though it's my first attempt in to affiliate and article marketing stuff, but still, I'm feeling like I have done this stuff for years lol). On the other side, I don't want to back off, as I have put a lot of effort in to this and I won't be satisfied before I get any sale. Be it I will write 100 articles (though ran out of ideas to be honest hehe)! I don't care, I will have sale in this niche!
just keep going Badar, you have the right attitude. I'm sure you're going to get that first sale soon.
Wrote 10 articles at EA, 4 are still under review, let's hope I will get a promotion soon hehe, which will definitely help me to speed up the article approval at EA, as I'm currently targeting only on EA. In my opinion and experience it's the best article directory out there! Gonna keep on writing and saving articles on HDD. Though can't say my articles are so great, they're about the same, just all are written with different words. I just can't wait for a sale to pop up, even if it's so uber high competitive I get hops, I get clicks it's just I don't get sales Has some articles approved, but uhm, they are not doing so well. *Cough*, they are doing terrible, but oh well, you can't be ideal all the time. + it was kind of my mistake I wrote article as an opinion, and it got put in Pure Opinion category, where it just doesn't quite belong to my niche. The good news are, some of my articles are doing well, and even 3 people decided to EzinePublish them. It's good, I guess. So far I have: Articles live: 8 (6 of them EA) Articles waiting approval: 4 (all of them are at EA) Article Views: 334 (298 of them EA) - pure gold mine! Clicks from articles: 97 YouTube video views: 16 Sales: 0 Hops: 91 This is getting silly, 91 hops, no sales, I'm still crying seeing how people convert at 1:15
Hey badar100 Thnx for updating us with this. I a complete newbie.. I just started with affiliate marketing. Just wanted ti know what all promotion methods do you use. Please help me out . I got one Sale on CB and been 2months I did nothing for it now . .So CB is eating my commission need to get more sales and get my paycheck. Now I again started workin on it after few people really helped me out Thank you. GOod Luck!
Well, the only suggestion I can give, is write articles. Cause I guess you aren't really interested in PPC advertising. So submit your articles to Ezine, Squidoo, ArticleDashboard and others. I'm a newbie too you know, so these are the ones suggestions I can give. And I didn't had success with Cb yet (only I hope), so I might give wrong advices. Cheers
Yes I did start writing new Articles. Started a few blogs even a few lens. Just don't know how exactly promote them. And Yes I love PPC too. They can fetch me some money too. Just point out some tricks can you? Cheers!
Thanks for the cheers up! About PPC, I don't use it that much, cause don't want to flush all my money away. And mate, I don't have any secrets, I do it like everybody does
Ooops, sorry for the long update delay. I had some serious problems with hosting. Imagine, they suspended my account, because how they explained I over used their PHP5 resources. They disabled my account for 2 days. What the heck, 80 visits a day is high php usage? Seriously, faggy hosting company! The good news are, I got a sale in my niche on 14 of June, right before the site shutdown :/ (I guess I could miss a sale , again, faggy hosting). So, I decided to give fire my site on dedicated server. Lucky me, I know Linux pretty well, so two days I was setting everything up. And today I finished. I even installed AwStats Didn't had time to write articles, so, work continues from today! My current server specification: Intel Celeron 220 1.2 GHz L2: 512Ko, FSB: 533 MHz 1 GB DDR 250 GB HDD 100 mbit upload / 100 mbit download ( so 12 Mbyte/sec at both ends ) and... unlimited traffic Now my sites load VEEEEEERY fast! So, stats: Articles live: 11 (9 of them EA) Articles waiting approval: 1 Article Views: 730 Clicks from articles: 217 YouTube video views: 22 Sales: 1 Hops: 228 Profit: 34$
Congratulations on popping your clickbank cherry - you've proven it! Look forward to seeing many many more... N
Awesome! You have the right attitude and it will pay off. Other people will get high conversions because they are either getting laser targetted traffic from PPC or they are experts in pre-selling. Your conversion of 0.43% is not so bad, and will improve over time as you learn more about pre-selling. Peter
