Newbie's guide to VPS

    Hi. I'm trying to learn all I can before jumping on the VPS wagon.
    I have basic Linux knowledge and I want to try and setup and run a VPS the old fashioned way (no cpanel for now). Thanks.

    VPS is a good start.

    I would say just buy a VPS and play around with it. With most providers, if you mess up, you can simply reinstall the OS with a click of a button. It's a great way to get hands on experience.
