    Hi,
I've never tried adsense. I want to start creating a website and put adsense on it. Is there a potential to earn something? And does anybody has some tips&tricks. Maybe some ebook recommendations?

    Thanks In advance

    My tip will be this:
Try to develop well a particular niche, providing constructive info.
You may get more money through adsense in that case...

Do a site about something that interests you.

Be it a hobby, or past time or even something you might have plenty of experience in due to your employment.

Make it the best most informative site that you can.

Research ways you can get traffic.

    And THEN apply for Adsense.

....But remember that for every 100 people that sign up to AdSense maybe 1 will make reasonable money with it. Don't give up your job to live on your AdSense earnings just yet!

It's not easy, and like countryboy says, for every success there are 100 failures - it takes time, energy and WORK..
I was skepical like you when i first started thinking about a site - but after reading thru DP forums for about a week i realized it was possible to make a few $$.. to my surprise, after only a few months i was making some GOOD money..
As for good ebook, see the link in my signature - hundreds of 100% positive reviews - perfect for someone just getting started.

Lot of work needed. You'll need to work hard on content. But give it a try.

It depends on how enthusiastic you are about this. It indeed needs a lot of hard work and a little bit of luck. Many new webmasters quit after 1-2 months.
The potential is great, there are lots of people making more than a decent living out of it.
You will find plenty of free tips on the net, so there is no need to buy an ebook, unless you are really in a hurry and you can not afford to spend too much time reasearching. I can not reccomend any ebook though...

    Good luck!
