    Hi,

    I am newbie, I have just started a blog(Blogger.com) with custom domain. My earning source is only adsense, please let me know:

    1) Is it good idea to use Blogger instead of wordpress? as earning source is adsense.

    2) Can I get good ranking using Blogger or wordpress is better for SEO in this case?

    3) I did not add my domain in Google yet, but I found my domain when I searched for it, I want to change my title and add keywords now; how much time google need to update my information like change of title and keywords?

    4) How to ping my blog updates to Google and what is average time for Google to update after ping?

    5) Will my blog be found only in blog search or in Google Web search too?

    1) Depends: some prefer blogger and some wordpress. However blogger is good to start with( i feel so )
    2) Many say wordpress has good chances of ranking higher than blogger. But, i feel unique content and quality incoming links are good for any platform
    3) Uusually 20secs to 2-5mins. Sometimes even higher if your blog is completely new
    4) You can use ping services for pinging your updates
    5) You will be found both on blog and google search

    1) What do you want to do with that Blog? Just a blog or do you might want to expand into other options?
    2) This shouldn't be your first problem when just starting to blog. Build content first then and find your niche then worry about rankings. If you want money, you can run an affiliate campaign on the page to get some money in.
    3) Google is really quick if finding updates. You can create sitemaps to improve updates, depending how many pages you currently have (300+ recommendable). Again sort your site out first, then worry about Google. You won't have 1000 Visitors a day anyway with just one Blog Post.
    4) Google indexes Wordpress/Blogger/Tumblr/Posterous/... pages rather quickly. Most of the time less then 1 Min. after post. However RSS Feed can improve visibility
    5) Depending what you blog is about, how often you post, what keywords you target, what traffic you have, what type of service you offer, you will be visible for both always. You will be visible for both no matter what, but depending on the mentioned, you visibility will differ.

    Anyhow, when you are new, start blogging for the love of blogging not for quiting your day job from today to tomorrow. If love is behind your intention then you don't care about Rankings/Indexation/Money, you will just be happy if you do get it.
