I agree. I am a full-time freelance writer. However, I too was told to check out this website to get rid of some content. This site is awesome so I think I will be here for a lot more than that. Wow, a musician. That is great. I couldn't play an instrument if I tried.
Very nice, I'm also interested in the writing part myself, Not too sure where to start and what to do yet. Takes a lot of time and patience to be in the music industry, it's a tough business !!
Actually, getting started in the writing business isn't quite as hard as it seems depending on the fields you are interested in. If you want to write books and such then it can get a little complicated. However, if you are interested in writing articles, there are a lot of opportunities out there to get you started. If you need some help getting started I would be happy to assist you.

There are two ways to go about writing articles. The first way is to write your own articles and publish them yourself. The second way is to take on freelance jobs and write articles for other clients which means the copyright is theirs when you are finished. As for choosing a category, it all depends on the time. Around the summer time, weight loss is a good topic, around the winter time, the holidays are a good topic. There are some tools and members here that know how to find what is really hot right at the moment that will bring you in more views.
