Find one thing. Stick to it. Follow it. Make money from it.

If you do too many things at once, you'll forget what you started. First trap of net marketing.

Don't expect to see reward and profit right away, it takes time. Find something that works and stick to it :) And if you have extra time, do another thing and stick to it.

Don't be so confused - have faith on the work you are doing - and if you want to save some time then look for some established websites or semi-established websites on the niche you are interested in.

This will give you a quick start

    Make a list

Reading this forum and other Internet resources is an excellent way to start

An effort of 4-6 hrs per day should give you some decent results. Keep in mind that, typically, it can take 6-12 months for a site to take off...yes, you'll read about those that got 1000s of visitors in the first week but that is far from typical

Sounds like you need to decide how you'll be earning money....will you be selling your own product/service or do you want to earn money through affiliate marketing? Will you have a static site or do you want to do it through blogging?

If you want to earn through affiliate marketing, I suggest MoreNiche....simply for the excellent information and guides it has for newbies...signup is free and the guides are free....you can access them on the left side bar of the site

If you want to do it through blogging, another excellent (and free) resource is at

    Yes
It is all about focus thats for sure. Just pick something you like to do and that can be profitable. don't do something that you know nothing about it just makes it hard and you just get frustrated. Make a game plan and stick too it.
