Newbie - what ads are earning / how do I delete duds?

    Hi there,

Sorry if this is a newbie question, I'm reasonably new to adsense, but am delighted to generate about 100 dollars per month from my 1 website. However, I'd be even MORE delighted if I could make 100 dollars per DAY and quit my day job!! :)

Is there a way I can find out exactly which adverts coming on my site are dragging in the "big" money per click? e.g. 0.50-2.00 per click etc? Then I can keep them on my site, and get rid of the duds...

    Any advice is greatly appreciated.

    Kind regards,

    Russ

Am I? Is that good? I have no idea what is good or bad. Personally I was delighted that I was able to get ANY money from this! To say I was a sceptic would be an understatement!

However, I'm now hooked. And greedy. Greedy for the idea of websites which can make 100 dollars per day, and leave me to take up golf or some other such hobby... !

There is no easy way for that, otherwise every publisher would have been a millionaire .. you have to research a lot for the keywords which are fatching the ads. but, you can filter out the low paying ads in Competitive Ads Filter in your adsense setup page.

If you can make $100 a day from Adsense, there is probably a more luctrative way to monetize your traffic besides Adsense.

to feed the Competitive Ads filter, go to adsblack list and sign up there. Also, there's a thread somewhere here on DP that lists a bunch of low-paying sites (try searching for "MFA").
