I'd like to, but I'm afraid I know too little at this point to make any contributions that experienced users would consider "useful."
owww. you got a good traffic...... if you need some advice, my advice is to dig the DP forums and you'll learn many things in optimization of Adsense
Yes, I've been reading the boards...I'm on page 4 right now having started hours ago... Just wondering if there's any input specific to my site that I should take note of...
3000 uniques a day is pretty good. You might be better off signing up with a CPM network and taking advantage of the impressions you're getting. Even if you decide to adjust your Adsense placement, it's a good idea to use CPM networks to double your earnings.
That is not always true. By using Adsense and CPM ads on the same page then it could actually lower your earnings. I have found that with having CPM ads on my site then I get less clicks on my Adsense ads. If adsense is paying very good per click then you could actually be loosing out. So if you are using both then it is best to keep a close eye on your statistics and earnings. Don't get me wrong though, as I do use both and some parts of my site, but not on all parts. I only use CPM ads on parts of my site that are not doing so well with the use of Adsense.
Yes, I did. It said EDIT - Thanks, all. But I were not really answering his question what ever it was. I was commenting on your post about putting CPM with Adsense. It can increase your earnings or even double them as you said, but this is not always the case and can sometimes even lower your overall earnings for the page.
That is a little harsh isn't it. I know quite a bit about Adsense, but not everything. One thing I know is and most probably alot of others know if they have tried it is that putting Adsense and CPM ads on the same page can actually lower your earnings for the page. Look at it from this angle. If you where making $0.50 CPM from cpm ads and around $0.04 per click from Adsense, which mean't that after your CTR from Adsense you are earning roughly $0.29 ecpm then using CPM and Adsense ads would be better than just using Adsense. But if you were getting something like a 1% CTR from Adsense and your average earnings per click from Adsense was $0.20 then you could actually be loosing money from having CPM ads on the same page. Don't forget alot of your site visitors that click on an ad leaves your site. So how I see it is that because you have CPM and Adsense on the same page then you will also be getting some clicks on the CPM ads, which could have actually been giving to the Adsense ads if you didn't have the CPM ads on the page in the first place. I have tested it.
