Newbie to Adsense...

    Hi all,
    I am completely new to adsense. I have just finished my first website and going to use the social bookmarking service but before that I want to place google ads in the website. All i know is I have to sign up for adsense account. I do not know what are the steps to be followed after that .Can anyone explain me how to succeed in this ? ..Help is needed

    It's pretty simple. I'm new too, and actually only got my adsense approved and put the ads on my site yesterday. Once you're approved, just log into your account on adsense, go to adsense setup, generate the code (it's really easy, takes about a minute), and paste it on your page. Or if you have a blog w/blogger, there's a way to add adsense through the control panel on there. Then sooner or later, hopefully the clicks/$$ will start coming in. That's the process in a nutshell. For more advanced info on generating traffic, making sure your site is successful, etc., dig around on this forum and google. I've looked around on here a lot and there are a lot of helpful threads

    one step at a time. apply for adsense first, get approved, and then add adsense on your site. also keep reading this adsense forum and you will learn a lot

    Is there any criteria for getting approved other than just having a website hosted? becasue I am using .me extension and i want know is that fine or not ?
