Just happened to stumble upon this forum while searching the Intrawebz for information on elance. A little background: My name is Buddy, I'm currently a Technical Writer and the Style Editor for the Technical Communications department of Mercury MerCruiser. I'm also about to be in charge of developing our CD's and DVD's, so I've started researching and attempting to play around with HTML. In an effort to expand my skill set, further my career and ultimately make more money I'm beginning to research and learn web design and web development. This forum seems like an excellent resource for someone like myself! I'm also a big time car and motorcycle enthusiast (even though I just sold my R6 ) and am currently working on fixing up an old BMW 3 series (E30 for those in the know ) Hello again!
Thanks for the welcome. I think I may have just landed myself an extra contract job writing some manuals for a software company! Which is perfect since in Tech Comm, Software and Tele Comm's are where the money is!
