Well, heh, ive come to the conclussion that im pretty much a newbie at SEO and that I dont understand as much as I thought xD So can anyone please answer some of my questions?? - What the hell are backlinks????!!! Are they the links to my site that I put at my articles? are they just the links to my site at random succeding sites?? - What are the use of backlinks??? - Other then article marketing how can I advertise my landing pages for free?? (I currently have like 100+ landing pages) - What is the use of a blog?? - If i`m doing just article marketing, do I need a blog?? - How should I write my articles in article marketing?? (keyword positioning, how many keywords, how many words?) These are the main ones that are stuck in my head so i`ll appreciate greatly anyone who answers me. thanks in advance, tony
OK, I'll start at the beginning a back link is simply a link from somewhere other than your own site that link back to your site. In the text of the back link instead of having click here you want your search term search engine or search terms, vary them a bit. So every time google finds a link with your search text (anchor text) it will raise you up in the index for that term. This is the most important part. Blogs can be useful but for what it seems your describing I wouldn't worry about. Other than article marketing you need to find other places to get your links to with your anchor text. Article marketing is just one of many steps in getting links if you like start there and move on to commenting on blogs with some anchor text chatting in forums with your ancor text and so on...... Theres way more to it but thats the basics keep reading around to find more places that are suitible for getting links and you should do great. Remember more links the better and make sure they include the text people will be searching for.
hm... I dont want to go around blogs and forums with my link around, I just dont have the time to do these silly things and i doubt it that if i post in blogs with my links there i`ll earn any commissions... anyhow, from what i got from what u say... If I want to just do article marketing I dont need anything else for it exept a site and articles?? and if lets say i want people that search for instance for "golden retriever training" will get into my site (they`ll see it on top 10 in the search page when they type "golden retriever training") i need to have enough backlinks that Build my page rank and shyt?? ............. but I still dont get it... does backlinks are just a "technical" ""tool"" for google to determine my sites PR?? and what about those many people that promise to gimme like 10k backlink listings and shyt if i pay them like 5$/month... is it worth it?? If my PR be like 5 and i do it, will it rise to like PR6 or PR7????? plzplzplz answer xD tony
Hey Tony, Don't Buy Links from Any one. Because for Now Google is Not Happy with many Paid Links ,So We Don't Need to move on High Risks with Paid Links, but We can get the Back Links from Directory submissions, social book marking, Articles submission, forum posting and Blog submissions. You can also read the webmaster Guidelines of Google. This is the Way which need to do. best Of Luck. John
