I've just signed up for ClickBank and found a product I would like to sell.

What is the best way to sell the product?

Can I copy the product owners sales page?

How can I advertise the product?

    Thanks,
    J

The basic idea is you either drive traffic using PPC via Google/Yahoo/Bing/somewhere else, or you set up a web page somewhere (either your own domain, a free platform like Squidoo, or submit articles to article directories like eZineArticles) with your review of the product to encourage people to buy.

Just did a quick search on Google and found this: http://www.affiliate-marketing101.com . Maybe reading some of the basics will help you out.

You should pre-sell the product (let the vendor do the selling part)

After you've chose your product try to ask the vendor for a review copy so you get an insightful view on the product (you don't want to promote some garbage so actually seeing the product will help you write an honest review)

Open up a blog or create a review style landing page and start sending traffic (doesn't get easier than that).

Here's just a few ways to start getting some targeted traffic -

    - Article Marketing
    - Video Marketing
    - Classified Sites
    - Web 2.0 Sites
    - Answer Sites
    - Groups / Communities
    - PPC
    - Ad Buys
    - Email Marketing

I'd recommend a professional landing page for higher conversions instead of a blog.

There's no point to copy the vendor's sales page since that's exactly where you're sending the traffic to. If you want a different sales page (other than the one that the vendor has) then you'll have to ask for his/her permission to do so.

    HI,

Choose a product with high gravity and populariity. High gravity sometimes means more competition too.

There are many ways to sell a product. I am going to give you FREE tips as we all do not like to spend our money ;)

1- You can create a review page on your blog and sell the product. Make sure you give some valuable bonuses, make your offer unbeatble.

2- If you have a Twitter account you can create schedule tweets advertising the product.

3- Create YouTube videos revising the product. Put your hop link with your URL

You can use text parts of the sales copy if you want, you are going to sell the vendor's product and he/she would not mind if you take some parts of the sales copy and use it to promote the product. You can also go to the product page and search for affiliate. There you will find everything you need to advertise the product.

    Hope it helps

you can create a simple sales page for the product/offer and then direct traffic to it
you should confirm with the particular program rules about what kind of promotional methods allowed. In particular, they may be picky about:
    1) bidding on branded keywords
    2) using email marketing
    3) incentives (such as paying user cash or reward points for completing an offer)
