Hey everyone, I've been spending weeks reading through all of the forums here trying to learn as much as I can. I've written down some questions that I've came across. I hope someone can clarify. What is PR 4? With google, what does it mean to Grab links? ex. grab 200-300 links What is PPC. Pay per click? What is a campaign, and a landing page? What is CPA? What is tracking? with clickbank etc. for someone who has little knowledge, how can I get started marketing affiliate links, and how can I find a good affiliate program. Pagerank, a way that google measures 'importance' of a website, goes from 1to 10. install google toolbar and browse sites to see the value. get links pointing to your website/s how much either you or someone else will pay for one click on one of your/their links. campaign is a series of keywords ('buy widgets','cheap widgets' etc) that are used to display your link. e.g you may want your link to appear on googles results when someone types in 'red widgets' and if someone clicks on your link when your ad appears that will cost $1. that means your PPC bid is $1. a landing page is a page optimised with sales speak/pitch to lure a visitor to buy a product or service. cost per action. how much you or someone else will pay in to go to a site a perform an action liek sign up to a newsletter or buy a product. tracking normally involves appending a value to the URL of a link to see if the visitor goes from clicking your link to purchasing a product/service.
