hey guys. im new. im just getting into SEO and affiliate marketing and i used a guide to get my first page started 1. my question is that some of the text is straight up copied from the sales website, about a third of my index page is just copied from the sales website as the content on the sales website is succinct and i wanted to use it. will this effect my rank with google? is it not good to have stuff like that? should i rewrite it or is it not a big deal. there is original content i've written and added though. the about section is COMPLETELY original. is it okay two JUST have two pages? the index and about one? 2. lets say i've posted my link on some forums involving basketball and such, and maybe on digg and mixx. now if i search in google "mysite" these posts i made on the forums and digg/mixx come up. if i search "mysite.com" my website comes up first and the others underneath. i cant find my website anywhere though when i search "My Key Word" which is what im trying to index for what does this mean? do i just have to wait? my website has been live for 2 days or so thank you so much
