Maybe i am naive in asking this question, but all feedback is greatly appreciated.

If i had a website called "i-am-here.com" would it be easy(ish) to gain high Google SERP with the exact search term "i am here" ??

Even if the PR rank was lower than the competition ??

    pls help

Yes it would, not necessarily because of the keywords in the domain name ... but because people naturally link back to yoursite with whatever the domain name is. It does depend on whether or not it was a high competition word / phrase though.

The PageRank of a domain has no relevance to it's rankings.

Yes it will give raise to your SERP position since the keyword you have chosen in the website name. The most important thing you can do is, you please ensure and carefully research your keywords, identifying the phrases most likely used to find your Web site.Try building back links with your chosen keyword as your anchor text. Keep your content as unique and fresh.
