Newbie: Question regarding placement.

    Hello,

I have set up a camaign and I am having difficulty getting my ad shown.

To be more precise my ad shows on the 1st page but only early in the morning then dissapears.

My daily budget is below Googles recomended, but if I was to go by googles recomended budget I could employ a full time experienced sales rep for the same price.

Is adwords really this expensive? £xxxx a month??

Any pointers would be most appreciated.;)

Welcome to Digital Point niplij, I'm sure you will find heaps of quality advice here, I know I have.
Depending on the industry you are in it can be very expensive, the reason it dissapears is because the people targetting the same keyword's turn the ads off in the times when they know the click through rate is high and the conversion rate is low.

Read through the other threads in the adwords forum and you will find a lot of relevant information that you can put to use.

Feel free to keep asking questions.

Maybe you reach your budget by mid morning. Google will then stop displaying your ads.

If you want to have visibility throughout more of the day try lowering your bid price, or try different lower cost keywords.

Thanks timbo, I think this is the course of action I will take.
I guess some exposure is better than none, I'll have to experiment a bit I guess;)
