Hey gang, I am new to this Forum and have been reading a lot of your postings... there are quite a few internet marketing pros out here. I was curious as to what kind of "traps" you look for when you see these Affliliate site offers... you know, the ones with the 6 foot long sales pages promising $50K-$100K in the first month. You sign up to just roll the dice, do exactly what they tell you, and watch your commission statemets flatline and your click count rattle the basement. Had this happen early on but I won't name the programs out of professional courtesy. I have my own opinions but after reading many of your posts am rethinking my selection approach. The ones I am involved with are doing OK but still looking for one that hits the mark. Any suggestions/ideas?
There are sites that look like junk and convert well and vice-versa. Test them yourself and see what converts.
That's a really good question and I've actually wondered the same. Curious to see what some other people have to say first
I look at the sales page and consider if I would buy from it. Put yourself in the visitor's shoes. If you wouldnt buy from the site then there's a good chance they won't want to either.
All, This is a very basic question. I was trying to understand if i can implement the affiliate marketing option on my site askmedicaldoctor.com I don't have any products to sell. We are an online medical consulting site providing answers to patient question. Will it be possible to add affiliate marketing option to such site? And if yes, what is the current option that i can use. Thanks,
Sure thing, in your case you would have to implement a CPA cost per action strategy from your affiliate, so the affiliate will earn a commission whenever he directs a person to your website and he asks a question. The CPA can also be used to direct people to fill forms, answer questionaries, etc, in other words to fulfill a task on your website, obviously a sale as well. Hope this have been helpfull. Good Day.
