Hello, im wanting to sell my arcade website, i have a possible buyer but i dont know how i would give it to him? Do i just download all the files from my host and zip them, then send the zip to him? I had to run a web install to get the site running. The other problem is the website in total with all the games is over 500mb which is fairly big so how would i go about this one?
You can download all the files to your own computer as well as database files (if any) and either zip them and send to him, or offer to upload them to his server for him.
are you selling content or domain ? or both ? if content, then you can just handoever including database and if you hav committed to install, then upload all files and install database throug phpMyAdmin, if you are also selling domain, then transfer the domain name as well.
another simple option could be the backup/restore functions in cpanel assuming both hosting accounts have cpanel
Yes. First copy all the website files into a zip file and send it to the buyer. Next, Go to Phpmyadmin in Cpanel and export the site database and also send it to him..and finally, transfer the domain name.The buyer hosting support can help him installing the database,etc.
