Newbie question, how do you know if you are in a

sandbox? I am pretty sure I am and my site is 2 years old! I cannot get my site to come up for any of my keywords. I may be #500, but I don't scroll that far. Is there any way to find out where your site ranks for each keyword. I am very new seo so any advice would be appreciated. Thanks!

Thanks for the site. My fears have been confirmed. I am not coming up in google search at all, but I am coming up with a lot of my keywords in the other search engines. What can I do about this? Anything? Do I submit my site again?

 

No, if You've been sandboxed there is no way to exclude yourself from there. Just be (very) patient.

 

Woa. 2 years is a long time to be boxed. I'm guessing you have other problems. Try this tool from SEOMoz: http://www.seomoz.org/tools/sandbox-tool.php and read this article: http://www.seomoz.org/blogdetail.php?ID=701

Just appearing in Y! and MSN but not Google is *not* an indicator of the sandbox, it's more complicated than that.

I also suggest submitting your URL for a site review.
