    Hi everyone,

I need to build a site that sells digital products. It will have more than a hundred items. I plan to integrate the simple Paypal shopping cart with Add-To-Cart buttons. I am a newbie. So what I understand is that when a buyer clicks the Buy button he is taken to the Paypas website, he completes the transaction there, and is redirected to the ThankYou page on my website, right? So what happens then? What should I do to let my customer have the download link to the product or products? Where should I have this download link? Do I have to have a separate download page for each product? I am confused. Please be patient with my ignorance. I'm a total newbie.

there are php scripts availble which provide such functionality

You need to feed the description ,Price and download link of each product ,even they allow u to upload it in admin.

Then when a customer buys they will automatically get link in email.

One such script is available at http://mega.ebooknetworking.com
    Demo: http://www.ebook-empire.co.uk/
    Regards

    Alex

Thanks Alex, for your valuable information. In this case it might be easy for me to get the services of E-junkie for this purpose. What do you say?

Do a search on hotscripts.com for "shopping carts" - many have functionality for pay and passback to download for virtual items, and many are free.
