The Clickbank FAQ states that high gravity products are the more popular ones among affiliates. The market place has options to sort products by popularity as well as gravity. What is the difference between the two?
popularity. How many affiliates have chosen to promote this product (actually driven traffic and/or made sales). a product with 500 affiliates with each of them did 1 or 2 sales= high popularity. Gravity. How many total sales the sum of affiliates of this program have made. a product with 1 super affiliate making 5000 sales= Extremly high gravity, very low popularity a product with 5000 affiliates each of them sending 10 customers and SOMETIME making 1 sale. Low gravity, HIGH popularity.
i believe its the other way around. a product with 1 super aff making 5000 sales will have a gravity of 1.. but high popularity. each aff can only add a max of 1 gravity point
I think swerd is right thats why most of this im products always have high gravity because most people buy through their affiliate links pushing the gravity up like mad
