Sorry people in advance for what i am sure will seem a very silly question, but like they say... if you don't ask you don't learn. I have been reading around this great forum for a while about people saying "Product Created" or "create your product" what does this mean exactly? Website created? Ebook created? I have heard people saying create your product and then find an affiliate scheme, when you say product do you mean create your product on a certain topic, lets say a music artist website for instance (perhaps a fan site for a lead singer of a well known band)? Any help in kick starting my affiliate marketing would be greatly accepted.
usually they meant EBOOKS. but it can be anything from short reports to software products that can be downoaded. with affiliate marketing, i would suggest read on anything about bum marketing. it's simple and it's free....
Usually it refers to an ebook or a series of videos or both. Because we live in this "instant age" - instant coffee, instant meals, instant communication, and instant information. What ever product you do create make sure it is a quality product that contains good content.
Yeah, members above me are speaking the truth. "Product" can mean anything from ebook to membership based website. I would advice you not to jump into these waters though. The field is hugely competitive and you might be better off learning some stuff about general IM, SEO and stuff like that. The easiest way to make money right now is through CPA networks. Just sign up with one, get yourself a website and start driving traffic from social media (way easier than google), you'll start seeing some profits (albeit very small ones) immediately. Just ask the big G for some info.
They also say: If you ask too much you might not be reading enough It means creating your own digital product and selling it online. You can create a software like SENuke or write an ebook like SEOBook. After that you can either selling it on your website or find affiliates to promote it for you (you will have to give them a commission of course) Creating a digital product and becoming a merchant is not easy for beginners. I would suggest you to sign-up with some of the bigger affiliate networks and start promoting some of the available products. Commissions go as far as 75% so it's not that bad.
That refers to instead of advertising other people products for earning a comission, create your own product for others to advertise (or advertise it yourself)
So you would recommend signing up to a site like ClickBank.com (I saw that mentioned within another thread i was reading) and advertising their products on a website built especially for that topic? And then perhaps start getting links to it, does it matter how many links out I do? Would a link swap with other sites be beneficial or does it really need to be one way? I appreciate the replys people
