    hi everyone,

i have been reading a litttle on how to incresese web site traffic and i believe those articles were quite old as most of them said to use meta tags and meta tags. then i came here and most people agree that meta tags are not too important especially the keywords tag. so what are the top 3 thing i should do to tell people that my site exist. ant help appreciated

Meta tags are important in my opinion. Especially tags from title & description. But, more important than meta are seo friendly links, good content, add content to your website how much often u can, AND, the backlinks! The backlinks are 50% from your wish!

submit to directories (free ones for now) and build links around the web. Thats the most important way to get yourself noticed. You should also work on the content as well

Here are 3 tips from my own blog:

-Depending on what type of site you have, apply good SEO.
-Get quality backlinks from similar sites.
-Let other similar sites know about yours (email them). Promoting it is something good to start with.
