Newbie mod_ReWrite Question

    Hello,

    I looked and looked, and feel really stupid asking, because I know someone has already answered this and I just didn't find it, but..

    I am trying to figure out how to exclude the following directory from being "Simplified":
    /public_html/nameOfSite/modules/Plog/

    Everytime I try and write the Rewriterule addition, it bombs on me.
