Ah, heh...sorry. I was reading to fast. Saw something about Macs above and...hey, it's been a long day...lol.

Yeah, they can do that. I'm not sure why, but I guess it's so they don't get sued for having "real" content on there, dispensing medical advice, diagnosis or treatments. :p

    You know how that goes.

Yeah - I guess I can understand. Just disappointing because it actually would have created about 12 backlinks in one night...

Anyway - any advice for promoting either website. One in sig is a blog that I update daily and have autofeed to do recent news from news websites. The Apple website is a forum. 70+ members, but it's dead. Most of the "members" try to post rx and porn (which I decline). I have it set so I have to approve 3 posts before it doesn't ask me anymore.

I've found Supersimplebogging.com , it has lots of great videos and he explains how to blog and make money at the same time, it really is worth looking into and it's amazingly free. So many others would charge for this kind of information.

Hey, If you are already techie... might I suggest promoting web hosting. They have one of the largest payouts - $100+ for signing up a $60 customer. Its awesome! I have made a small fortune promoting hosting.

Just a suggestion, but hope it helps in someway!

I have looked into that, but I have a few questions/concerns:

Isn't that market VERY saturated? It seems like it would be tough to compete. Also, something I'm having trouble doing now is figuring out how to market the products? A blog doesn't seem to conducive to marketing hosting...

Yeah, it is a bit saturated, but that's because the payouts are SO high!! Blogging IS very conducive to the hosting industry. Just type "web hosting" in to google and scroll down to the bottom of the natural results.... You will see a new section just for web hosting blogs - looks like this...

I know a lot about making blogs work, and they do work for hosting. In fact, I teach people how to make money blogging. I sell it to folks on another forum. I'm not trying to pitch you, I really only want to provide helpful information for you. But in this case it really might help. If you want to check it out.... you can here moneyvaultsecrets.com/index2.html

Again, i'm not trying to pitch you, just want to help.

Looking at that first result for web hosting blogs, I can see that site has a LOT of content and ways to monetize as well. However, I don't think that I could come up with all that content and therefore I wouldn't get any traffic...

Oh, don't be so sure about that.... Content is the easy part!!! Are you familiar with 'PLR (Private Label Rights)? Basically you can buy articles about almost any subject for VERY cheap, say $2.00 for 10 articles. Since you have private label rights, all you need to do is slap your name as the author. its like having a really cheap ghost writer. I also recommend paraphrasing some of the content so its original and, boom, there you go you have yourself 10 verticals to stick on your blog and also to post to article sites like Digg to help you get more SEO back links. It really is easy. You are obviously smart, you should really have no trouble! And i'm always here if you have questions. Just hit me up!
