Newbie - Interested in Web2.0

Hi,

Yup, another newbie here.

Looking to discuss and understand more about the whole Web2.0 concept and where the whole internet idea is headed. eg. Twitter's really popular right now but I have no idea why. It really doesn't seem to be of any real use other than as a sort of spammy traffic generator. Have I missed the point?

Reading some of the threads here, you guys seem a fairly open minded lot without too much flaming so looking forward to some chat.

Welcome to the forum Sam. Web 2.0 is a huge topic and there is plenty to learn. Although Twitter does seem like a spammy traffic generator on the surface, I do find it easier to keep up to date with people I follow that are using it for legit reasons. I look forwarding to discussing Web 2.0 and other topics with you more.

 

web 2.0 is nothing really... lol just some fancy images combined with some smarter scripting.
