i just bought a domain and installed phpbb i want to ask something if you could help me than i will be very thankful to you.

i want to know
how to add adsense in the forums.
how to edit the main index to add some text at the bottom.
how to change the title of the page.
how to change the main logo(phpbb logo).
please answer these question i will be very thankful to you.

 

Q1: how to add adsense in the forums.
Simple edit overall_header (for the top) overall_footer (for the bottom) put your adsense code somewhere in one of them

Q2: how to edit the main index to add some text at the bottom.
edit overall_footer

Q3: how to change the title of the page.
In Admin CP look in configuration settings

Q4: over right the current logo in templates/subSilver(if your using subSilver)/images/logo_phpbb.gif(this has to be exactly the same no caps)

First off, are you using PHPBB 2 or 3?

 

i am using phpBB 2 and i want to install mod
which show adsense ads after 1st post and 3rd post and also on the index page.

 

Well first off, I'd upgrade to PHPBB 3.0 RC6.

But in PHPBB 2, to add adsense just go into the template directory. It's been so long since I've used it, I can't give you exactly where it is, but should be a style or template folder with files labeled tpl, and there you can modify them.

But like I say, upgrade to PHPBB 3, and than just google ADSENSE PHPBB 3.0 FIRST POST INLINE
