I have inherited PPC marketing duties for a retail company in a highly competitive market. What constitutes a PPC marketing plan? Any sample plans you'd care to share or helpful links off the beaten path you can post would be appreciated. Additionally is there a formula that pulls together impressions, cilcks, carts, abandons, conversions, etc that can guide bidding and keyword decisions? Thanks for letting me post! Mike
PPC can be difficult in competitive markets. However, it isn't impossible. Just always keep in mind that your keywords should be targetted and particularly in competitive markets, you should always use negative keywords, such as "free" if you're only trying to sell things to your visitors. Adwords is the only way to go, other PPC companies seem to have too many people trying to scam the advertisers out of their money.
Well, you need a great header, a lead-catching description, and a big budget if you want to get into a competitive market. I think you'd get a lot of help from the PPC and general marketing forums.
Thank you for the responses. I was hoping to get a ltittle more info here. Maybe I will try the PPC Forum as suggested. Thanks again! Mike
Hi Mike! At the very least include google analytics into your plan so you know where you are converting....
