I suggest learning how to build a link wheel. It's a pretty effective way to increase your PR, keyword rankings, and traffic.

If you want pr and traffic, first you need to build backlinks to your site first. Do not hope google will give anything for free!!!

I'm not sure why you think you're in big trouble, and I see not even 1000 links attributed to your first site. If you get too many links google may see something fishy, but if you are doing it naturally, blog comments, article marketing, etc. you will be fine.

First build backlinks to your home page by submitting 3 articles in a week to top 20 article submission sites , do social networking using facebook & twitter. Your PR & traffic will definitely increase after a period of 4 months.

    SEO is all about patience

First, you can building back-link to increase page rank, as much as possible but it's not mean going to spam links anywhere you can. Make sure for add some target keyword in text-links. It also can help you gain a lot of traffic.

It's all about quality link building not spam. Try and post links on appropriate blogs within your niche rather than on random blogs. For example it is a waste of your time if you post a link on a tech blog, which, you could spend your time posting it on a blog about new hockey shirts or a message board about football.

Another great way to build a fanbase of recurring visitors who would most likely comeback to your site is using twitter. Build up a few hundred followers or a few thousand if you feel up to it who are tweeting and/or blogging about the things involved in your niche. Don't just follow random people as it is waste of your time even if they follow you in return as they will not visit your site or read your content if they aren't interested. FACT: The only thing people read which they don't like are bills.

When you're on twitter make sure you tweet short catchy things not long dull tweets as you are most likely to get your follower to read the whole thing. I.E. "LIMITED TIME ONLY! 10 Canadian Hockey Shirts Only $10 EACH!!! Here--> (insert link)". A bad one would be "For 10 days we will be selling 10 Canadian hockey shirts for a reduced price which comes to $10 each. Look at them at the shope here- (insert link)" Which one do you prefer?

Many of your followers (if they like your tweet) will retweet it and share it with their friends and you will be reaching even more people and getting your link out there (make sure you use your link not a shortened one) which makes google love you!

Another way to gain quality traffic is to make a Facebook fan page and add the Like Plugin to your site and add your Facebook Page URL on as much stuff you can. E.g. Once a user has purchased a product display a link to your Facebook Page and your Twitter. Having active fans who like your product is great as you can keep them updated via facebook.

Finally having a blog is great as you can blog about your products and sell them before your readers even see it as long as your market it well. You can also post your blog URL on other blogs as 99.9% of blogs these days have a Website field in the comments box after posts.

    Try this stuff out, Sandy

You need to take a look at your onpage. one quick point is your content for your title and meta description are exact same as your keywords. Think about it in google eyes, that is super spammy. If you want more input pm me.
