Hey I'm a newbie to all this, I was wondering if people could get me the low down as to how to start using clickbank...hwo I should go about doing it and such..what kind of website to use, or blog if possible...all that wonderful stuff Again I apologize for my ignorance.
Do a search for article marketing. It's a good way for a newbie to get his feet wet without losing money. As far as a landing page, just start with a few free ones like squidoo, hubpages or blogger. They are easy to set up and free. Eventually you'll want your own domain. The easiest way I've found to get a site going on my own domain is by using WordPress. Doug
I have 4 blogs already, one fitness, one video game related, one daily deal related, and one online money making related I think I'm going to concentrate on the first and last one, Thanks for the help edit: unfortunately article marketing did not really come up with any results just a bunch of pay for this bullshit stuff
Here's a list of great guides. All of them are free My Clickbank Business Guide - www.makemoneyonline4idiots.com Lemonarian's Definition of Bum - www.lemonarian.com Devour's Art of Clickbank - www.theartofclickbank.com Travis Sago's Bum Marketing Method - www.bummarketingmethod.com
i've looked at money 4 idiots, I need to get a blog with alot of ppl hitting it i guess all these sites really jsut seem to beat around the bush...I want to try it out without paying for something then maybe i'll pay for it anyone try wealthy affiliates? and fi so what the hell is it?
lol, all the guides are free and there are promotion methods in those guides, which don't require any money investment. I don't understand what's your problem.
lol I'm just trying to get a general understanding, I have two-three blogs I want to promote right now Once I get a sale I guess I'll be good.... I need to figure out how to get more hits though without spending money
Yea I've read them now and its makes a bit more sense, Think I can start a blog, add it to google and yahoos crawler? Promote it on digg, and on forums, and add some keywords here and there The I should go on clickbank and find a product to sell right? And put it on my blog? What should I start out with? Money Making seems to be a good bet
Looking at your questions, I don't think you have even download those guides. If you have read four useful guides (I hope you did), how come you are asking such general questions?
Don't bother adding anything to Google or Yahoo directly. They'll pick up your sites when you link to them from other sites. Social bookmarking and linking to your site in your article resource box is a good way to get your sites indexed fast. As far as what to start with - I think making money is a horrible niche to get into. It's way overcrowded and most people can tell when someone is trying to sell them making money stuff when they themselves don't have any idea what they are talking about. If you have any particular interest that you can find a good product to promote within - that can be a great move. For example if you really love golf - trying to promote stuff related to golf will be easier for you because you know about it and you can write articles about etc. Doing that doesn't always work though - as you can't always find a profitable thing to promote within an area of your expertise. Of the site topics you mentioned fitness & video games sound like they have the most potential to me. A "daily deal" type blog is hard to get off the ground as it's going to be scattered. It's easier to find success with something that is focused. And like I said - I really think getting into the "make money online" market is a mistake. It's incredibly competitive and you'll be competing against people who actually know what they are talking about.
because general questions lead to specific questions... I really don't want to buy hosting right now, I was to see if I can get a sale before I do that, or if its possible to use blogs as effectively as website scams yea i think I'm going to go the health or video game route first, sofar I have 1 hop from clickbank on my video game website... the person didn't but the guide tho
define "website scams" ? I think it's fine to test the waters with free sites (blogger, squidoo, hubpages) but I really think getting your own websites and domains is a far better move in the long run. Then you are working towards something with long term potential for growth. I started off just doing PPC directly to affiliate sites (back when that was a lot more profitable/easy to do than it is now) and I really wish I had bought my own domains back then, I know I'd be in a much better place now if I had. As domains age, the search engines tend to give them more and more respect. It's best to buy domains sooner rather than later. Using HostMonster (my favorite webhost) you can host unlimited sites with one account and actually buy new domains through them for only $10 each with privacy included. I mean... If you're serious about making money online - Then investing a couple hundred bucks shouldn't be a big deal. If you don't have any money to get started then that's understandable - bum marketing can get you the money you need to pay for your hosting.
This is like the only business on the planet that you can get started in for under $10. If you're not going to buy a domain name, than are you really going to invest the necessary time into it?
You know there's a member here who makes $7000 - $10,000 a month using only free methods, that's the bum spirit lol. So you read my report, it's all about bum marketing, and the whole concept is based around taking advantage of web 2.0 and marketing for free. I even gave you a step by step blueprint kind of thing... what else do you want?
pyramid scams, also I am looking to eventually buy my own site and work on formatting and such... but I want to make sure I can make a few bucks right now and then use those to expand. I'll try more bum marketing Right Now I'm setting up a new blog and I'll see how it goes... going to take my time
I'd start by writing articles and submitting them to the article directories. If you don't enjoy writing you could always pay people to write them for you.
