Newbie Challenge-How I want To Make $1,000 In 6Months

Thanks everyone for replying and helping me boost my moral. Thanks so much for your encouragement and concerns. I am doing good. I have been learning and working at the same time and it has been fun. Now this is the update on my progress.

UPDATE
I have successfully gotten my site to begin to get relevancy in G at least. Two of my pages excluding the home page has been indexed. This is pretty slow in my eye but I am trying to take it one at a time.

Moreso, I have successfully submitted my site to the webmaster tool so I believe thaty google will be able to crawl more of my site and eventually get all my pages indexed and begin fighting the Ist battle on the pages of the search engine results.

More post has been added to the directory and I am beginning to do very little promotion, I want to have quality content fight and then begin to invite people to join the directory.

N.B- Please I covet your guidance in making this challenge a success. I know that is a lot of things for me to learn and I am willing to learn. Today, I have been reading Gary Helbet's Boron Letter and I must confessed that I have gained a lot.

UPDATE:
I now have two authors submit to my article directory and I am delighted. I will continue to add more articles to the directory and then sign up to google adsense in the next few hours.

Nigeria.... be sure to give their royalty some money. They seem to always be caught in these drama filled dilemmas and need money for something or another

 

6 months to achieve $1000 per month is reasonable target. If you are good on this and work hard, then you can achieve your goal

Hi Oke!

Its great to see you have goals set in writing and that you've started working on your project. It might be an idea to break your goals into smaller sections which are easier to attain that way you won't get bored.

For example what happens if you don't get to $1000 per month in 6 months? Chances are you'll get bored.

If you break those goals up into smaller sections then you will have a better chance of achieving them....

For example.....

Start by targeting $5 per day in the first 2 months. ($150 per Month)

Then once you hit that......$10 per day in the next 2 months ($300 per Month)

Then once you hit that......$20 per day in the next 2 months ($600 per Month)

And so on....

That way you concentrate on achieving small steps.....

Thanks so much for your encouragement. I have been busy adding articles to my directory and I have had 2 more people join the directory. It is really a good feeling. I now have a total of 29 articles or so and I submitted my site to google adsense for review yesterday. I hope they accept it.

You Could increase the number of articles you get if you submit your site to the Unique Article Wizard (Google it) and get articles from them.

I used to do this with a wordpress plugin and it was great.

Of course it's possible. And with your attitude, drive, and real business plan (albeit, with some tweaking; you're in the right place for advice, by the way!), I have no doubt you will achieve your goal.

The funny thing is that google craws my site almost everytime that I make a change and I didnt ping them. It is interesting. All my pages are indexed. it is all around 106 or so. I have also signed up with google adsense and I will begin to optimise it now. The experience has been fun and hectic also. I figure that If I can make $1 per day for a start, i can increase my effort and do things right.
Thanks all for your support. The next challenge will be how to make $1 per day cos to make $1,000 per month, my site needs to make $33.34 per day if i really on adsense alone. I believe that i can perform better with more traffic and more monetsing options. Please review my site and tell me what I am doing wrong and things I should improve. Thanks.

I have in IM and I rarely made $1k/Month and what ever money I made was very secure and I was not sure that I will make enough money next month to cover my expenses.
