Dunno if there's a catch here but anyways, "a new post" would that be you want to make a new thread or reply to a post? If you want to make a new post (new thread), on the left side there is a button that says "New Thread" click on that and it will make you a new post like the one i did earlier...a reply to a post is i assume you'd know by now cause you managed to reply on my post hope that solves it...
