Hi, first of all i am looking for general advice, i am NOT promoting anything (not a clue how to really!), and again really dont want to look through more hours of ebooks with little to really say.

I stand here, originally trying to make money on line as we all are, for personal reasons really (as we all are.....). Heard about internet marketing, and enrolled on wealthy affiliate for a months or so but found that lots of the info was available for free anyway. started the thirty day challenge (google it if you havent heard of it, i do have a link for referrals but dont want it here as dont want this post to be a simple way to get people to somewhere, want to be honest!!), 3 times now and each time seem to get sidetracked with shedloads of further info, and go off on a tangent.........

So here I am BEGGING for a pointer from some older heads. Can't profess to actually knowing what im doing, but really can hand-on-heard say that from an effort point, I am far from lazy or unmotivated.

Are there any guys out there who have simple advice on making money? read some great posts on here, and will keep reading but again sends me off on mad tangents.

Loads of little ideas, like blogging, ppc (please if i sound like i know what im going on about, dont be mistaken!).

I am erm lucky enough to work and get a few hours per day doing what i want online, and would like to utilise my time.

So if you were totally starting out, totally, and wanted to make some money (not a large amount, id be happy with 5 pounds per day!) what would you advise, if there is anyone out there.

I dont mean to sound ungrateful especially if you are still reading (!) but please im not looking for more ebooks at a price, just some simple free advice on how to get to grips with the basics.

Many thanks if anyone can help or give pointers. Im sure there are people reading and thinking this is very very simple, but so am I!!

    hoping.............
    alan.

The Search function is your friend, use it and you'll find plenty of suggestions to this question.

Here is a thread from an hour or so ago that you may be interested in reading, which contains the information that you are looking for and drives Straight To The Point.

yes many thanks, read that post before posting mine, and it was pretty thorough, but still not sure, i mean yes it makes sense to focus on 2 or 3 sites, rather than 100 small ones as the person in the other post suggested. but how would one site produce £100 per day?? is it just a case of getting good at promoting a certain site or topic, then approaching advertisers? or using say clickbank or other affiliate programs around the sides? or even just ignore any income and try and sell sites??

there was a lot of info in there, but even for a clueless like me, still need something with clearer guidance really. any ideas?
and thanks for the reply, i shall continue scouring these here pages!

Find a darn good service that you can supply to others that is in demand, look at the competition, find out what they're up to, pick holes in their business and deliver a better overall product / service with more appeal.

Take a portion of their market share and deliver what your customers out there want and need.

£100 a day isn't that much, make that your goal and you will find a way to do it.

How much do you desire £100 a day? Do you Really know how much you want it?

Think And Grow Rich by Napolean Hill would be a good read for you, it's an all time classic which would refine your thinking processes and hone and / or refine the direction in which ideally, you want to be going in whilst getting the dross subconsciously out of your system.

Buy it, read it thoroughly and apply that knowledge.

Don't waste your time and money on the seminar or ebook that claim that you can easily make $100/day after reading their ebook. There no such thing as easy money.
5 pound is easily earned if you have the necessary skill such as coding and designing.
