Newbie AdSense Click Question

I am fairly new to AdSense and not familiar with exactly how clicks translate to pay. I usually get around 3 clicks a day on this one site, which earns me anywhere from 4-13 cents. However, today I received more views than on average, and 4 clicks, and have earned 0 cents. How does that work?

 

sometimes adsense counts your clicks to be NOT legitimate like when someone clicks on ads but before the site loads that user hits the back button

There maybe 3 reasons why you do not have any earning for clicks:

- PSA
- CPM ads
- Invalid clicks.

PSA is the public service advertisement and CPM ads are the ads that are paid when you receive impression on that ad, but not click. For invalid clicks, Google will classify the clicks as invalid if the person who click the ad is not his/her real intention to know or understand what kind of product or service are selling for that ad. That will increase the fiscal burden of the advertisers.

For those invalid clicks, you need to report them to Google immediately or you may get banned of the click fraud.

 

There may be a various reasons, but, the most common is invalid clicks.

 

I doubt when the visitor clicks the back button the click is not counted.

 

your CTR and pay will not be same every day. it will vary by long shot. for today's click and no pay, could be due to invalid clicks or PSA ads.

 

I agree, quite often its an invalid click.
