I am new to posting here, but have been reading the posts for a long time and have always found the help I needed from other posts that were similiar. I know there have been alot of posts on which directory to use. After reading through most of them I'd say, I decided to go with PHPLD ver.2. I downloaded the zip file and then using Winrar tried to extract it and it keeps telling me that the script is either written in an unknown format or damaged. At one point even telling me that it is corrupt. I have downloaded others within a few minutes of this and they have been fine. Any ideas here what might be wrong? I'm not the best with this sort of thing, but can install scripts etc pretty well. Not familiar with the error codes I should say. Also, does anyone know if there is a free version of eSyndicat? PHPLinkDirectory has a forum you might want to check out. I found it beneficial, pretty good knowledge base that covered many of the questions I had. As far as a free version of eSyndicat, hope fully someone else familiar with their script can give you an answer.
