Newb, where to start

    I am novoice in webdev i got no idea where to start, all i want is learn quick so that i can develop neat sites on my own in php. What do you suggest me to do ? buy some html php books or what or join some paid courses running around in colleges. Advice shall be apprecaited.

    It depends more on your learning style, really. Some people learn better from books, some learn better from doing, and some by watching others do. If you have some programming knowledge that makes things much easier.

    Googling will reveal a few tutorials. w3schools is good and also as a reference source: w3schools. com/ php/ default.asp

    You don't have to purchase any books. I did however, but you can learn everything online too. Just use google for "Basic PHP tutorials" or just "PHP tutorials" and use www.php.net as a reference. Also, make sure you learn MySQL after you feel confident with PHP. That way, you can create dynamic websites and scripts much easier.
