Newb Question about Landing Pages

Hello, I am a newb to all this (first time im trying affiliate marketing!) So i hope this doesnt come off as too simple minded a question. I just signed up for an affiliate program, and i was given a landing page link i could post (presumably with unique coding that is tied back to me). If i want to advertise with facebook and i use this landing page for people to get linked too, do i even need my own website that they are sent back to first? Or can I simply have them click on this landing page link thru the Facebook ad, and that is sufficient?
    Thanks

The landing page link would be sufficient, you don't need your own website but you might want to consider getting one anyway :)

the landing page is just ok, but if you want more traffic, you can write articles and advertise your landing page. Squidoo is good for marketing affiliate programs. Best of luck

Make your own landing page redirecting to the offer page ..... which will get your ads approve faster ....
