Hey everyone I joined here to seek a little help. I have read several of at home jobs, marketing, etc...but they are all scams. I am looking to start my business at home with a web site and make a sufficient income at home doing whatever it is I need to do, and learning whatever also. Can anyone point me to the honest and right direction to help get me started? Thank you!!

I've only 1 suggestion - start reading, read a lot, read until your eyes can't handle reading .. That's the only way to succeed in this world ( internet marketing ). Thanks, I have already read so much my eyes are closing on me lol. I am not afraid to invest some money but want to do it where I will make a profit and wont get scammed out of my money.
Well, you can make a lot of money ( sure, not in your second day of working on this ) without investing a single cent ( theory ). What you should get is a domain name & hosting - that's 10-15$ in total .. After that - install WordPress or anything else, start posting good content, get visitors, get hops ( CB clicks = hops ), make money .. As simple as that

The sites that I am talkin about that are scams, are like the work at home jobs and are all over the interent that want you to pay in 50 to 100 bucks and scam you for your money. Ok so I have the part about gettin the website and all that, but what do I put on the web site and where do I get it? I am completely new starting from scratch
"Give me 50$ - I will give you back 100$" - do you see any logic ? I don't .. So, forget about these "earn fast" offers - they all are BS. About what to place on your sites - content ( you can find what it means, on wikipedia ). If you are not capable to write articles, find some good writers in BST/Content creation section ( usually 4$ for 400 words article )
This source(if you can see at the bottom) helped me a lot, I am making about $200 a day... Just like you I have wasted thousands of dollars.

Write e-books, and then sell them by advertising in other webmasters' sites? (This is what I do.) Have an online magazine and make money from advertisers? Have a news site, adn make money from advertisers? Have a funny site, like DavesDaily.com andmake money from advertisers? Have a subscription site where people pay, like, $7 a month for info? Like a paid newsletter. Be an affiliate? On and on....
I dont see anything at the bottom of the page malikiqbal? And for activefrost, how does having a web site make me money? Dont I have to sell something or something? I know I sound like a moron but I have no idea where to even begin?!!!!

Affiliate marketing - yeah, basically your selling others stuff .. PPC - you place some ads ( google, adbrite, etc. ) in your posts/website, and when someone clicks on them - you earn money .. Enough said - I gave you links and there is a few more categories in this forum .. you can find ALL information here - just search & read !

Neena... in internet reality, there are lots of scams around us. You must stay out of it. Don't believe any such statements that sounds too good to be true.. Focus on your marketing plan more than anything else otherwise you might have a site that is dead in the water. Make sure there is a profitable niche out there for you and don't get starry-eyed and try and go bigger than you can handle. Start small and grow over time... it is going to be a while before you're going to be successful.
